We’re moving on the move-in!
Tuesday, May 3, 2011
Blog entry by Elizabeth Vincent, The Leonardo's marketing director. We hinted last week, when we announced our education site, that we’ve started the move-in to The Leo’s permanent home. Last Monday morning, Mayor Becker officially welcomed us into the building on Library Square.

Some of our Board members and donors helped us carry in our first few boxes, out of our very first moving van. (Ok. We admit; you can see from the pictures they were pretty light -- last Monday was more of a ceremonial opening, but we’re not any less excited!)
And there are a lot of things for us to be excited about: we announced the Micron Education Center and the James L. Sorensen Family Science Gallery and -- though the building renovations are still underway -- we can’t wait to add to the buzz by beginning to work with our volunteers! We’ll write more soon about how you can get involved and join the excitement. It’s going to be a sensational summer, and we can’t wait to share it with you, so if you know you want to be involved, you can get started here.
