Help The Leo with in-kind donations

Hey folks! As you all know The Leonardo will be opening this summer and we've been busy with opening preparations. We're reaching the stage where construction workers will be moving out and we (along with the exhibits we're putting together) will be moving in. That means we're going to need some tools and other supplies to put everything together.

This is where you come in -- we're looking for in-kind donations from the community. By donating new and gently-used tools and materials you'll be helping create a destination and resource for the community. And not only will you get warm fuzzies for helping, but you'll have a fatter wallet as well because your donation is tax deductible! (Check out this page for more information.) Donations will help us build exhibits, install major art pieces, and will help create a visitor workshop -- Lab @ The Leo -- where you can work with a "cool person in residence" who teaches great things, like how to build a circuit board or all the fun activities we had at our pilot event where we tested out this idea. Here's what we need:

hammers	1.5-inch grabber screws
side cutters/diagonal pliers	staple gun and staples
tape measures	set square
box cutters / X-acto knives	levels
hand saws	chisels
cordless drills	respirators
hand drills (with cord)	wire brushes
screwdrivers	paint rags
nails -- up to 2 inches	dust masks
panel pins	sewing machine

rulers	wood glue
pencils	masking tape
sandpaper

metal buckets	rubber/latex/nitrile gloves -- all sizes
plastic buckets	mop
sauce pans	broom
plastic bowls	dust pan
cleaning products	first aid supplies/kits
